Question by Nauticaâ„¢: Silly Question: Is the "religion talk" similar to the "sex talk" you have with your kids?

Meaning is discussing religion whether supporting it or against it of similar importance to discussing sex with your kids? What type of guidance would you offer in a religion talk? Would you encourage your kid to carry "The Portable Atheist" by Hitchens, or if you have a specific religion you support, would you encourage your kids to study up on your holy text to be prepared for rival opinions?
